March 3, 2023 - I am upping my most recent score on this wine. It is better now than 2 years.
It is deep purple in color and yet has a velvety mouthfeel. On the nose it is ripe blackberry, some blueberry and slight bay leaf. In mouth it has a medium weight viscosity and yet is so balanced. Flavors include cassis, some graphite and bell pepper. Previous weekend about the finish seems resolved here. Age has helped this wine. -

June 19, 2021 - PHMG WAG: Two Shots and a Vertical Tasting (Lyon Quarantine Site): Back to bigger wines! Winner of the MSOTN award (Most Structure) this evening. This bottle housed a wine that was deep, dark and long with black currant, blackberry, black plum, tobacco and stone. Now-2030.

December 10, 2020 - Awesome wine !! Better than expected and great value as it drinks above its weight.
It is deep purple in color and yet has a velvety mouthfeel. On the nose it is ripe blackberry, some blueberry and slight bay leaf. In mouth it has a medium weight viscosity and yet is so balanced. Flavors include cassis, some graphite and bell pepper. Any weakness is only evident in the finish. This is where the wine loses sweet fruits and gains chocolate notes in a rather short lingering finish
