The first pour is only slightly hazy and quite translucent pale nutty yellow-brown color; only the second pour makes the beer properly cloudy as apparently the haze doesn't stay in suspension, but instead is just deposit on the bottom of the can. Moderately large, medium-long off-white head. Rather linear nose of zesty citrus fruits and ripe orange, some grapefruit rind, a little bit of yeast, light biscuity malt notes and a vague hint of spice. The beer feels balanced, quite dry and rather linear on the palate with a medium body and clean, somewhat understated flavors of orange-driven citrus fruits, some vague spicy notes, a little bit of biscuity malt, light herby green notes of hops and a hint of yeast. The carbonation feels modest, as does the hop bitterness. The finish is round, dry-ish and a bit short with no mentionable hop bitterness and somewhat understated flavors of fresh orange, some unripe pineapple, a little bit of biscuity malt, a green-toned hint of herbal hops and a touch of yeast.
A clean, refreshing and accessible little hazy IPA from the easy-drinking end. This translates to a a beer that is incredibly predictable, mild and boring. Completely inconsequential brew. This is something one can drink without any problems but offers nothing that would make me buy this ever again. Not particularly pricey at 3,24€ for a 0,33-liter can, but I wouldn't say the beer is really worth the price. -
