  March 1, 2023 - Gorgeous, light footed, airy red fruits, silky sap, weightless like an Italian Ballerina but not lacking power, and when the dance is over, la Donna is here to tell you she's the boss. Very good hedonistic wine, keeps changing in the glass, became more tannic and grippy and towards brown spices after 3 hours of air. I enjoyed more the Ballerina part that the housewife with a broom after the long decant, but this is a good sign, the wine has structure and will age well. Fantastic value.

  January 29, 2023 - Single bottle gift from a friend. Tasted alongside the 2015 Rosso.
  This has more depth to it than the rosso with darker plum fruit and a lovely chocolate note. Still has good cut and tannins are in a good place. I think this is the first 2015 Brunello I’ve tried despite having gone long on the vintage. Certainly very approachable now.

  August 11, 2022 - Il Maronetto Brunello di Montalcino 2015
  Day 1
  2 - 3 h in carafe, light red color on the border of clear red, restrained aroma. Fruit in the form of red currants, raspberries and rowan berries firm dry tannins and nice high acidity. Somewhat restrained in taste, does not really let go, is proof that it is still young. But incredibly well balanced, good structure, this is young and spreads a little but with high quality.
  
  Day 2
  Now things are happening, more well-balanced, homogenous, the acidity has subsided a bit, the fruit is starting to take over, so delicious!

  March 12, 2022 - Family birthdays dinner. Much better than the Il Poggione Reserva at the same meal. Good balance start to finish. Looking forward to the second bottle sometime in the future.
