April 2, 2023 - Fruit on the nose was bright, but palate was a little heavier. Nice wine with strong meats, perhaps. Cheers!

March 29, 2023 - Modest flowery nose. Medium bodied, relatively well balanced, jammy chalk with nice fruit.

February 9, 2023 - Slightly floral, slightly spiced with full throttle black fruit balanced with just enough structure. A screaming bargain for enjoyment right now.

November 9, 2022 - Flowers, cherries, spices, minerals, mixed herbs, blueberries, very gentle tannins, with hints of cocoa and sweet melon in the pleasant aftertaste. Fine immediately after opening the bottle, but even better after about 20 minutes in the glass. (Tasted from several different glasses over an hour. To my personal taste, this was at its most enjoyable from the Jancis Robinson glass.) [Retasted after 48 hours, stoppered and refrigerated but not otherwise preserved. Tannins are now more aggressively present. The wine is also significantly richer, and black cherries, roses, and sweet cocoa have come more to the fore, with a touch of coffee in the aftertaste. If I had more bottles--I don't--I would probably wait another year or so before opening another. There really does seem to be potential for some improvement here. The score reflects this 48-hours-later experience--I originally scored it at 91 points.]

October 24, 2022 - Incredibly fun and balanced wine to enjoy with meat. So Old World and elegant, this is a screaming bargain of a wine. Good now through 2026.
