February 18, 2022 - Bought from a new neighborhood restaurant's wine list for 38 which is about double best Searcher US retail (BYO not allowed--usually a deterrent, but prices here were reasonable rel to best retail). Dark purple; fragrant red fruit nose, some eucalyptus, bit of savory jus; rich red fruit with some complexity, good mouthfeel. Table mates who like "fruit forward, not tannic" were interested but withheld endorsement. I would order again and even buy at best retail. Quality, age, price (wine list setting): Notable+.

April 17, 2021 - Pale ruby
Nose: Cloud of sassafras with cherry pit notes hiding behind.
Mouth: Splashy notes of blueberry, cherry, and strawberry glide through, open and friendly as light sassafras and earth fill in on the back end. Not hugely long, but shows good palate action as the fruit drips on its way through.
Overall: Fun and lightly zesty, with good purity to the upfront fruit. Drink now through 2028, but try and get to it while the fruit is still fresh.
