July 2, 2023 - Potpourri, salted butter, and crème brûlée. Medium bodied, low acid, and silky with a hit of alcohol on the nose and mid palate.

April 16, 2023 - A private lunch (Restaurant Europa, Amsterdam, NL): Magnum. Strawberry yoghurt, Sam said when it was a at a higher temperature, and I can relate. So fine and delicate but rich and fragrant, exemplary balance between weight (14.5% ABV) and minerally elegance, big but playful and layered, low acidity, velvety texture, flowers and spices and apricot, noticeable back-end heat.

March 4, 2023 - Rare for a white WOTN. Luxurious bouquet and oily texture of elderflower, macadamia nuts and some contrasting leanless to balance. Very complex and engaging. Not fat at all even when drank without food. Impressive length.

January 30, 2023 - Chez Dalluge does Momofuko w/ Champagne, Whites, & Reine des Bois Vertical (Chez Dalluge, MN): Pale gold color. Drank a glass over 75 minutes. Lodes of lychee, passion fruit, spice; full bodied, citrus, tropical, lychee, vivid and powerful, just lovely.
Damn, we could have stopped here and gone home exceedingly happy before we ever hit the reds. This was awesome; love these Candie!

January 30, 2023 - Candace's btl tonight at Dave Ds fabulous dinner on bone chilling MN night. So long to January! Wow, this was a sharp right turn from the 2 previous white Burgs. An absolute a study in terroir expression and quite intriguing. Drenching concentration & intense. A huge mouthful of stone fruit, tangerine, grapefruit and rocky minerality. The only note I found challenging was a bitter note on the finish. That said the entirety of the experience here is impressive! Thanks Candace!
