June 27, 2023 - Excellent. Drinking well now from PnP over a couple of hours. Quite dense and rich for a Barbaresco. If you told me that Super Piedmonts existed, I'd call this one! Cherry, eucalyptus, dusty earth, mint, spice, violets. This is a solid red to sip on, as it has heft and ripe fruit without getting tired. It was a bit too much for a simple, clean tomato sauce with mushroom pasta. It didn't clash too much, but it was to big. Think a sauce with guanciale for this. Better yet, a grilled steak or venison.

    Works out at around $30.

I moved my drinking window in to end 2033 as at this point I'm not sure it's built for the really long haul.

    February 28, 2022 - Pale garnet, unfiltered
Aromatics medium. Rose, cherry snd subtle tar. No new oak.
Palate has medium body. Acid medium +. Tannins medium +, fine grained on the teeth and gums. Alcohol medium. Cherry
    Finish has medium length. Balanced
I have two bottles of this wine. I thought I would try one now. I think you should hold the next bottle for 2 to 4 years. I suspect some interesting tertiaries may come out. Regardless I agree with previous comments, it's a nice wine that's drinking beautifully right now.

September 15, 2021 - Still a bit young and should be great when it has mellowed . I grabbed the wrong bottle which means I need to improve my records as it was not what I expected in this spot.

April 3, 2021 - Consistent with prior note. Good now or can age 8+ years.

January 29, 2021 - Pleasant Barbaresco. Smooth medium richness cherry. Enough tannins to continue to age, but I do not see any reason to wait to open the bottle, it is ready to drink now.
