Thick and sweet with great spice and complexity and light on its feet - not cloying at all. So sad that Alban has pulled out these vines... 95-96 pts.

April 22, 2007 - Dinner w/ Dave & Chris (Our House): From 1/2 bottle. Deep gold/amber color. Very tasty, with rich flavors of dried apricots and honey. A touch of almonds/nuts on the finish. Thick and sweet but not heavy. Beautifully mature color; nuanced secondary flavors. The color and flavor profile hint at the 1967 Yquem (no kidding!). Really delicious; wish I had more.
