  October 12, 2022 - Pop and pour. At $20 this is a top contender for QPR of the year. Far more structure and tannin than I'd expect for a straight Chianti, and a much darker color though it's still somewhat translucent as you look through the stems.

  September 30, 2021 - Nose is glogg like, can the aroma be sweet? - requires sub 70 cellar temp 75 is too warm. It is an enticing mouthful, rounder richer fruit entry, perfect citrus ting, exotic spices, aftertaste is tea like tannin base which I found appealing. Attractive, more broad fruit, more spicy complexity a more generous Chianti than is typical, very well made.

  February 1, 2021 - Very nice textbook Chianti Classico. Cherry, cola, bright acidity, a little dusty, round mouthfeel, long finish. Great QPR.
