March 12, 2024 - Medium/light in color and body. Cherry fruit, balsamic and iron on the palate. A bit on the taut side with medium+ acidity but also elegant (iron fist in a velvet glove). Fined grained tannins on a medium finish. Good food wine. Very good.

February 20, 2024 - Outstanding fruit, balance elegance and length. Loved it with Bolognese

January 29, 2024 - Dark red color. On nose, rosemary, sour cherry, sweet cherry, sweet cherry, tobacco and charred earth. On palate, full body, medium+ body, high acidity, medium tannins and very long finish. Very nice. 93+

October 9, 2023 - Solid wine ready for drinking now. 30 min decant it improves to expose the essence of this estate! Nice color, starting the bricking phase, a tad dry but good red fruits here with some earthy accents and wood. Nice perfume on the nose, legs in the glass, a bit lighter than the Riserva of the same vintage, which also has more depth. Drink or hold.

August 7, 2023 - I decanted and strained my Pertimali, but no sediment in this bottle. I let it aerate for about three hours and then I began sipping. This bottle is way too young to drink. A tannin bomb it was on the first evening. The wine had mellowed substantially on evening two. There was only a drop left on evening three, but not much had changed since evening two. I would hold for another five years before tasting again. Is it worth $65? Maybe.
