January 18, 2022 - Nose dominated by fruit - raspberry and a bit of red cherry, along with a mineral, and bit creamy and a bit of lemon. Palate quite nicely balanced, enough acid, good mineral, long fresh fruit. Just a hint of bitter astringency on finish, and a bit more heat than I like in rose, but it is Gigondas, after all. Definitely for the table - worked very well with a harissa lamb stew - fruit to balance the heat, enough acid and mineral to balance the richness, really worked.

August 6, 2021 - Nose red raspberry, cherry, minerals. Hints of anise. Palate nicely balanced, if a bit on heavy side. Would like a bit more acid, but great fruit and mineral backbone, quite rounded - built more for table than as an aperitif. Great example of Rhone rose.
