  December 17, 2023 - From magnum, shared with family at our annual Christmas gathering. Beautiful golden color in the glass, aromas of sea spray, brine, crushed limestone, and a beautiful whiff of earth. The term “mouthwatering” is front and center, each sip has you going for another sip quickly. The brine and lemon zest and acid dance on the palate. A fantastic Petit Chablis from the genius that is Raveneau. Glad to have two more in the cellar. Delicious.

  June 30, 2023 - An Epic Summer Wine Weekend - Year 2; 6/30/2023-7/2/2023 (Muskoka, Ontario, Canada): From magnum which I believe is the only way this is bottled. This pours light gold in the glass. The nose is exprssive and shows the classic Raveneau profile of waxy lemon, earthy soil, dried lemon peel, fresh crisp pear, sea spray, and light touches of mixed brown spice. The palate is bright and precise with a lovely mixture of crisp orchard fruit and a nice chalky and waxy, texture. Just really pretty stuff and a good glimpse of the Raveneau house style.

Doesn't quite have the same concentration and length of the village or 1ers but it's still a great introduction to the world of Raveneau.

  December 29, 2021 - Very round, elegant and a silent complexity. French Chardonnay at its best on a basic level. That beeing said: Would not see any typical aspects to bring it home go petit chablis or chablis at all

  September 19, 2021 - From a magnum. Pale lemon color and primary + youthful nose. Overall an enjoyable table wine with barely detectable Kimmeridgian character. Does the quality justify the Raveneau premium (>$200)? To me the answer is no.
