August 30, 2022 - Still very young. Deep red color and very fruity nose. Elegant on the palate, primary notes dominate. Harmonious and balanced but in early stages. I would recommend to decant.

August 27, 2022 - No formal notes taken but wine was enjoyable with high concentration and well developed fruit flavors. We didn't taste any of the strange notes mentioned by the previous reviewer. I think this wine could go 5-10 more years pretty easily.

May 15, 2021 - Dark purple, lovely deep serious fruit nose which turns chemical with swirling. Green vine, bitter chemical taste. Something not right here like a chemical reaction to air. Have no prior experience with such a taste, not volatile acidity, more frightening.

April 8, 2020 - I got this bottle at the winery on my trip to Mendoza. Argentina. Slightly fruit forward, smooth, hints of black currants, plums and cherries. Great wine from the Mendoza area. Achaval Ferrer makes high quality wines, wish they were available in US.
