  Loads of oak, black currant and creme de cassis the palate is medium-bodied with sour cherry, mint and high acidity that makes the tannins a bit shrill. I sense there’s a lot going on with this wine, but it needs time…time, time, time. My first experience with the winery, so I’m not sure how long, but I certainly won’t open another before it’s 10, preferably 12. IF this gains some weight and volume, it will be excellent! Drink 2027-2032. 92+?
  
  Edit: after 6:30 post decant, this is softening and gaining complexity, but still needs to add weight and fruit. Only time will tell, but this seems worth waiting for.

  September 8, 2023 - Wine opened quickly, medium weight. Stakes out territory midway between BDX and new world blends. One of my go-to Super Tuscans. Great value under $30.

  April 30, 2023 - Very solid wine. Day 2 was better, tannins more muted, much smoother, not overly sweet robust purple grapes. I would wait another 2 years until I drink my last bottle.

  December 26, 2022 - Tannins are a bit distracting currently. Good black fruit flavors. I think another 3 years in bottle may improve this wine.
