January 4, 2021 - For our tastes, this was far too viscous. It seemed quite odd.
August 17, 2020 - Ruby-garnet, opaque; sweet cherries, plums, earth, game, charcoal smoke; ripe cherry, plummy, savoury, silky, medium body, good acidity, excellent balance, round slightly astringent tannins, lingering finish.
Deeply coloured with evolving nose of rich, ripe fruit and subtle, secondary flavours. Easy-to-drink with such balance so as to give it depth and short-term ageability. Excellent as a sipper and with spicy sausages. Terrific!
November 18, 2019 - Popped and poured. Nose of rose petals, cherry, plum, dried herbs and loamy earth. Red and black fruit, fig, loamy earth, ginger snaps and soft tannins on the palate. Long finish. Medium to full bodied. Served with baked ham.
