May 20, 2021 - Typical French, acid forward, short fruit. Truly not bad. Gift wine for the non-cognoscenti.

April 23, 2021 - Pop and pour. Very funky/bretty to start, but blew off with about 30 min of air. On the nose: raspberry, crushed black pepper, a touch of garrigue/dried herbs; a little tight On the palate: excellent acidity, black raspberry, salt, a touch of olive, loads of black pepper and palate-coating tannin on the close. Much more open than these btls used to be, and shockingly drinkable for a young cornas.

Day 3: open, unrefrigerated on the counter since opening. Still a little barnyardy/stinky, and masking the fruit and spice behind. A touch prickly with dissolved CO2 on the palate still. No signs of oxidation, but still a little "vin de nature" on day 3...meh

April 11, 2021 - Carbonique dommage, mieux après l avoir un peu "secoué"

April 3, 2021 - Visually, it looks like grape juice, which it is, after all. On the nose, muted aromas of smoke, black and purple fruit and the barest hint of black pepper. The palate shows mostly smoke and blackberries, with pleasing acidity and prominent, but refined tannins. Currently in a bit of a dumb phase with the structure crowding out the fruit, even after 4+ hours of air. Best to hide for 3-5 years before revisiting.

April 2, 2021 - (decanted 2 hrs) Medium nose with blueberries, flowers, smoke, white pepper and ink. Same picture on the palate and for the vintage surprisingly cool fruits . Very firm grippy tannins, fine balance and good length! Will need some time. 91
