  April 17, 2023 - Mais quelle belle finesse que nous retrouvons dans ce Solengo 1999.
  De la cerise mure juteuse mais aucunement trop riche ou sucrée, juste ce qu'il faut d'acidité, un boisé et un tannin parfaitement intégré suivi d'une bonne longueur en bouche. Un vin Italien présentant une magnifique fraîcheur, personne était en Italie, délicieux !

  January 10, 2023 - Dark garnet with minor clearing at the edges. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with overtones of dusty/earthy & floral notes, herbs, spices, graphite, tar, leather, tobacco, minerals & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied, with very good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, rich, ripe fruit flavors of sweet dark cherries, blackberries & plums with dark cocoa, spices, herbs, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but at 24 years of age it is either at or close to its peak of development, so best to drink up soon! Cork was stained 1/3 up but intact; fill was mid-level in neck. An indicative blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot & Syrah.

  거의 풀바디 중간 산도 당도 거의 다 녹은 타닌
  99빈티지가 오픈한지 5일 됐는데도 살아있다.

  January 8, 2022 - This bottle was less monolithic and dense than that of 12/26/20. The Sangiovese component was more obvious on the finish, which turned out to make it a good pairing with Tuscan steak over arugula with Parmesan shavings.

  December 26, 2020 - First sampling of this wine. Dark garnet color. Nose of currant, cassis, earth, graphite, fainter floral notes. Compelling layers of vibrant dark plum, currant, beef blood, and a bit of leather on the palate. Freshening acidity and serious but filed off tannin. Long finish of dark plum, tobacco, meaty tones, and sweet grip. No noticeable oak notes. Delicious wine which paired beautifully with prime rib at Christmas dinner.
