March 14, 2014 - Opened, poured in decanter and served
Lemon, pineapple on the nose. Fragrant and concentrated
Nutty, full flavor. Round and integrated; not linear and precise palate
Glass 2: Wider on the nose, seaweed/ocean type aromas then some cream
    White pepper on the palate
Long finish but not as intense as I'd have thought at grand cru level

November 23, 2013 - Whew! Not oxidized! Bright yellow in color. Rich fruit, a bit of vanilla and caramel. Good acidity and impressive weight and richness. I might even wait a year or two on the other bottle.

May 4, 2012 - White Burgundy at Helsinki (Classic Wine Cellars, Helsinki, Finland): Great chalky minerality. Very primary. Opens up nicely with air. Intensive and very classy. If this would have been drank without the Montrachet next to it, it would have been a real winner. Now, though, it was a bit shadowed by competition.

May 4, 2012 - Ripe and rich yellow fruit nose from appley to tropical with citrusy brightness, honeyed florals, dairy character, bready bredth, calcareous notes, metal and smoke.
Dry and quite weighty palate with beautiful grainy structure and mineral depth. Florality, wool and salt liquorice before the long finish with notes of smoke and hazelnuts.
Yummy cappucino and tiramisu character. Rather delicious and drinking good.

June 29, 2011 - Drank with Matt at Corton in NYC. Absolutely lovely! Elegant! Matt thought it tasted young (but wonderful).
