April 21, 2017 - Wine meet - Lars @ St Paul de Vence: Still young, powerful, red and dark berries, noticeable but soft tannins, great balance and still some upside. Lovely.

May 8, 2016 - Opened with the Tokyo gang shortly after flying in. No decanter and likely a bit jet lagged. Not surprisingly, it has a reticent, restrained nose, hinting at dark red and blue fruits with some but limited floral notes. Fairly powerful in the mouth, rich rather than silky, again darker fruit predominates; clearly this is still in its primary stage but it is not at all monolithic at this very young age. I felt there are layers and layers waiting to unfold. All agreed it has the structure and the fruit to evolve into a very good wine, perhaps a great village level wine. Will wait a few years before checking in again but so far I am pleased with this wine's development.

February 3, 2014 - Delivers the goods as expected - at peak now. Lovely nose of black cherry and violets. Very smooth tannins, good acidity and balance on the palate. A round yet somewhat masculine interpretation of Chambolle.

March 21, 2012 - This is beginning to be open for business... violets, raspberries and hints of bacon on the nose. Earthy and sweet on the palate, good core of fruit. Quality-wise this is between villages and 1er cru.
