April 2, 2016 - This wine is still drinking well. There was a subtle floral bouquet. The color was deep red with no signs of oxidation. The flavor was fruit forward with hints of cherry. The wine was nicely balanced with a hint of tannin.

July 25, 2015 - A little oaky and extracted at the moment but there's plenty of dry extract here which bodes well for further aging. More masculine than elegant.

February 28, 2013 - Sigh of relief. I went long on 05 burgundy (maybe the last vintage where I'll do that) but I hadn't yet opened a bottle. Now the deed is done and this was one yummy wine, especially at this price pint. Very bright flavors of cherry and red fruit. Like tiny explosions in the mouth. Fireworks, fourth of July, Vegas at night. I think you get the picture. Not sublte, not elegant, just bright and delicious. Made me a happy camper.
