November 20, 2021 - This was fantastic! First sip slightly muted but after decanting for only 1.5 hours it took off and drank beautifully. Still full of fruit, no sense of aging in this respect. Herbs, tobacco, earthy aromas. The fruit changed from glass to glass, going from light and fresh to dark and intense and then back. Every now and then floral aromas showed up only to then recede again. On the whole a powerful Pinot, only 13% alc though. Brilliant with no reservations. Could definitely go another few years, as another user noted.

June 6, 2019 - Great fruit, classic pinot. I would say drink now to 2025 if you like developed tones but still like the fruit.

October 28, 2018 - had this over two days.
this needs a long long decant and was even better the next day.
    its arguably too young today.
at first the nose was very muted - then it opened and opened and the next day it was in its full glory.
some red fruit, some menthol, some strawberry and barnyard funk on the nose - but the mouthful was really a pleasure - great fruit, asian spices, long finish.
i'd honestly probably say it needs another 3-5 years in the cellar...but glad i tired it over two days as it gave me a glimpse into its future

August 11, 2018 - For me probably one of the weaker wines served that night which was more due to stiff competition then the lack of quality of this wine. I would have just hoped for a little bit more oomph for a 05 1er cru. Nevertheless showing some nice blue fruits but it is a bit brute still at this juncture and might benefit from a few more years to soften?

July 5, 2017 - Just Pnp at home
Nose: very forward gamey nose, a bit vanilla and toasty oak came later. Finally turned into meaty and minty.
Palate was quite rich for the 1st hr, and gamey fruit intermixed with a good mineral finishing. Later when the fruit started to fade, the tannin bite come and was still chewy, mineral with tea finishing. Overall it was much more fruity than I expected and a very good soild effort in a vintage like this (i expected it to be tannin monster). Can age 5 yrs longer to see the development. Regret I jz have one bt
