Palate: delicious pear and light grassy flavor with subdued grapefruit on a rather long finish. Well-balanced. Perfect with the Tuscan Chicken and Angel Hair dish. -

November 1, 2008 - 89-90 This is like no other sauv blanc that I have tasted and really this is the vintage to look for. The 2007, while good, is drifting out into another dimension of herbacious quality (more pine and nettles). This 2006: Pale yellow; nose has its piercing grassy and a little cat/gooseberry quality but also a captivating herbal sage aroma and then those wild herb notes in the med to full palate along with citrus, pear, a brisk grassyness and good acidity. Great QPR.
