January 22, 2022 - Clear, pale, lemon in colour. The nose is clean, medium + intensity with primary aromas of green fruit and citrus. Green apple, lemon peel, hint blossom and tomato leaf. Secondary aromas of oak, vanilla, smoke, hint coconut. Toast and butter. Hint of tertiary with toast. The wine is developing. The palate is dry, medium + acidity and medium alcohol. The body and flavour intensity is Medium. Flavour characteristics are all there with green apple strong, additional hint wet stones. Finish is medium. Quality is Very good and can drink now and potential for age.

December 5, 2021 - Medium lemon colour with some strong vanilla and smoke on the nose as well as green apple, lemon, papaya and honey (almost like honeyed ham!). This wine has a medium-full body with medium acid and a touch of sweetness. On the palate, again some papaya, apple and citrus along with butter and vanilla on the medium long, hot finish. The smoke and butter did not overwhelm the flavours, but were very present. Easy drinking wine, good quality for the price.

July 28, 2021 - Yellow-hued chardonnay with a pleasingly light touch on the oak and butter that lets more fruit come through. Not complex but pleasing and easy to drink especially given the price. It went well with hot-smoked salmon.

June 1, 2020 - Very good chardonnay that tries to balance the buttery, oaky profile of Cali whites with elements of mineral and subdued fruit. Lemon yellow in the glass. Tropical fruit and match stick aromas with a distinct sour green apple flavor upon entry. Palate is dominated by a woodiness that I attribute to oak with hints of cut grass, jicama, yellow apple and lime. Medium and mineral ripe, up-front mouthfeel delivered on an oaky, bright and acidic texture with a medium length finish. Not my preferred style of chardonnay but very respectable all the same. Decent QPR.
