  March 27, 2021 - My assessnment of this wine is based purely on personal taste. I do not suggest that there has been any error in the wine-making, just that I heartily dislike the product. This kind of mawkish, pear-drop, slightly pienappley Chardonnay is anathema to me. Even after allowing it to reach room temperature it revealed not a jot about which it might be worth writing home to Mother. I can only assume that the terroir in this spot of Sonoma is inimical to my palate and predilections . It might--might-- improve with a few years' keeping , but why take the chance and clog up your cellar?
