August 2, 2020 - Purchased on release, served at room temperature (c.25 degrees). Dark colored, transparent but relatively low viscosity. Initially a very heady nose of blueberry jam, becoming more muted with time. Very light tannins, balanced flavor profile of dark fruits, hint of acidity, with a medium plus finish. A surprisingly lithe wine. Pretty yummy.

July 25, 2020 - A flavorful, graceful Zinfandel. It’s easy to enjoy a young wine that is so fresh & invitingly open for business. A welcome change from dark & brooding needing time+ to integrate. In the last 6 months it has really blossomed too. An intriguing glimpse into vines that have survived on their own roots. A rare red to enjoy on the porch in the heat as well. Nicely done!
