April 25, 2021 - An organic/vegan/natty Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is intriguing, I'm just not sure why they had to make an extracted/oaky/California Cab style wine at its base. And OH BOY, this wine is very extracted. (I would guess it's from a very warm part of Abruzzo, near the coast) Jammy dark fruit. Vanilla, chocolate notes as well but more fruit driven than oak driven.
