  August 5, 2023 - This is the last bottle in a case of 12 and was surprised to see I had never rated it. Bottom line I and my wife have enjoyed every one including this one. Lots of rich dark and red fruit remains and the tannin is completely smooth and integrated with the fruit and alcohol. Not complex but very tasty. I remember the first bottle I tasted which had maybe too much fruit but that has settled down over the years. Ready to drink and enjoy. Was best first 24 hours opened.

  November 28, 2022 - This is a great Cab from Rodney Strong. Beautiful dark ruby with notes of dark plum, leather and a lot of damp earthiness. They have balanced acidity and tannins with neither dominating. The wine lingers on the finish.

  December 24, 2021 - On opening, seemed to need decanting. After 2h, with roast beef, very nice. Entirely drinkable now with decanting, and probably ok for a year or maybe more (I am not good at predicting).
