November 24, 2023 - Amazing persistence. Juicy without being overripe, a slight bitter finish which crescendos into a crystalline conclusion which ultimately makes the wine quite delicious. Had the wine open over a few hours and the acidity became more prominent with time. Definitely some subtle elegance here though not all that complex. In a nice place though a little pricey for what you get.

December 28, 2022 - I tried this alongside the Cote de Nuits Villages and I have to say I preferred almost everything about the Bourgogne.

Bachelet - in my experience - produces wines with a deft touch. And that turns out to be a benefit in 2018. This has loads of red fruit and spice. Lots of balance. No heat or jamminess that some 18s have. I’m extremely impressed with this and would surmise that there’s room for development still.

December 6, 2022 - Upon opening, I get concentrated red fruit with what I feel is a dose of wood. Nice acidity and tannins coated mouth well, although not fully resolved, to formulate good length. Let it sit in the glass for 24 hours and when I revisited, I got crunchier red fruit that was high toned and more prominent acidity (I believe from the tannins rounding out). Fun to try both upon opening and with a ton of air. Maybe 24 hours was too much air but the wine definitely benefits with some.

August 12, 2022 - Absolutely delicious, twangy and vibrant, dark fruit, shockingly silky texture for a Bourgogne. Bloody intensity yet light, dancing, vibrant. This doesn't seem like something to age much, but it has killer purity, depth and focus for such a young wine. Super tasty!

March 19, 2022 - A nice score for a Bougogne rouge, as Bachelet hits it again! Normally, his CdeNV is the marker for all others at that level. This bottle (and of course Bourgogne rouges vary more) has the nose of Bachelet, high-toned, light- to -medium cherry, rustic branches and soil. Just elegant and delicious as what it should be.Worth trying now.

July 25, 2021 - trengte en liten halvtime på karaffel for å klarne opp. Elegant og forførerisk nese av pen frukt og florale toner. Utrolig delikat i munn. Så lett, men med så god frukt og punch. Bare 12,5 % og ingen spor etter varm årgang.

July 24, 2021 - Fantastic Bourgogne from Bachelet. Pop and pour with 30 minutes or so in the glass. Elegant nose, with everything extremely well integrated for a wine so young. Nice pillowy mouth feel and wonderful complexity. Drank this alongside the Lafarge Cote Du Beaune 2018 and liked the Bachelet a bit more.
