November 12, 2022 - Mid-yellow-gold, the nose is dusty with pencil shavings, ripe tangerine, yellow plum and nougat with a touch of honey peeking out.
A crisp, edgy acid entry, broadness to the mid-palate and filled with plenty of sweet fruits, nougat and fleshy ripe peach/tinned peach. With dried pear skin texture, the wine finishes relatively short with a slightly phenolic finish. There is a bit of brioche/light toasty notes and aniseed as the wine opens, but it feels simplistic and lacks excitement. Even with the energetic acidity, it feels overwhelmed by the richness and honeyed fruit on offer. Ends with toast, a dribble of honey and nougat. Not really my thing at all. -

April 22, 2021 - Nose had a nice peachy scent, along with some wet stony earth. Palate was a bit tangy on the front, with lemon, watermelon, and cantaloupe flavors along with a touch of minerality/iodine. The finish was on the short side, with a little more citrus at the end. I think it will improve with a little more time in bottle, and if given a little while to breathe.

November 9, 2020 - Last bottle and very nice, but not as focused or energetic as previous bottles. Very much in the orchard fruit spectrum with that varietal leafy note showing up. Structure was fine, but the finish felt short. I am definitely wondering if these are going through a teenage stage.
