(Please do not confuse this wine with the similarly named "Proverb" bulk-produced wine from California's Central Valley (photo #1 & 2 in the label library)
Served (PnP) w/Italian Sausage Casserole, Peas & Garlic Bread.
Dark Purplish Ruby-Red in the glass, with a nose of Cherries and dark red fruit. Full-bodied, and flavored; Cherry, Blackberry and Cassis on the palate. Nice full, round mouth-feel. Tannins are silky smooth, with just a hint of 'bite' on the finish. Ample acidity provides a pleasant, lingering finish. An elegant wine that is a legitimate 90-point contender.
