  December 1, 2022 - Corney & Barrow - Domaine Leflaive and Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Dinner (Clos Pasoh): Pale straw. A slight bit of sugary roundness, with underripe white peach and ripe lemon, then a good structured greyish mineral feel

  June 2, 2022 - For me the 2017 vintage marked Leflaive’s return to stardom, after (arguably) 2004. I can’t believe this is the warm 2018. It’s stunningly elegant, finessed and pure with zero fat or potential “blockiness” of some 2018 white burgs. It’s layered with gorgeous perfumed aromatics of citrus blossoms, lilies, stone fruit, exotic spice and the perfect amount of reduction we love. The palate has killer tension, vibrancy, racy lemony acids and a lovely texture that gives way to its focused, persistent and spice tinged finish. So good!

  March 13, 2022 - Quite open and straight forward, typical for the vintage. There's plenty to love here, it's a classic Puligny combining rich, buttery fruit with great precision, citrus and minerality. This is a soft, easy drinking vintage, and while this will certainly keep, it's not to be forgotten in the cellar.

  January 23, 2022 - Delineated and elegant unlike many of the white burg that being too ripe for the vintage. Light white floral, bright green and citrus fruits with twist of pear and peach. All back by the acidic backbone, trmendous underlying savoury minerality, grilled nuts and well integrated creamy and sweet spices. Needs some air and warmth to kick start. A great vintage for Clavoillon.
