September 6, 2014 - This Meursault reminds me why I used to love Côte d'Or white Burgs a generation ago before anyone had heard of pox or Parker points. Previous bottles of this medium bodied and linear shaped Burg had privileged lush creaminess over cedar tinged white fruit, minerality and lively acidity but on this bottle all the elements had come into balance and the result was beautifully elegant and harmonious. Excellent but my last bottle, alas.

December 1, 2012 - Very good. This could have gone another 5-7 years easy.
Really lovely nose with lime peel, a light touch of praline, mushrooms, spices and mineral notes. Full body, quite intense on the palate, mandarine and again some lime peel. While there's not really a particular fruit standing out, it is ripe but with good acidity. Not particularly elegant but well balanced and to me, true to Genevrieres, at least what I would expect from it.

January 24, 2012 - yellow gold. developed nose with caramel, exotic spices (including curry), lemon, honey, nuts, butter, buttered toast. Big palate: full-bodied, ripe, with ballast on the mid-palate, perhaps a bit shy in the back. When chewed, it has a chalky, limey core. Rather four-square: not the most refined or elegant. Medium finish: crisp, quite acid driven. Then: done.

April 20, 2009 - Tremendous Meursault and a killer pairing with our Epoisse and Delice de Bourgogne.
Nice light golden color. Ripe (on the borderline of residual sugar) but elegant nose with hazelnut, smoke and citrus. Med body, beautiful balance, ripe with some exotic fruits notes with again smoky hazelnut. Acidity is there to keep everything flowing.
    At its peak.
