February 3, 2011 - Aromas and flavors of strawberry, cranberry and some sour cherry. Medium bodied and bright tasting. ($10)

October 10, 2008 - Dry and needs to be open awhile. Enjoyable with food but otherwise plain. Good price.
September 10, 2008 - Surprisingly good negociant wine from Trader Joe's. It's hard to find any Barolo or Barbaresco at quintuple the $7 price. Some initial funkyness blew off. Some heat remained, but otherwise there was some interesting leathery cherry action. The attack and finish are excellent here with just a hint of sweetness and a soft, dry finish. The acidity is just right to go with food, too. The opposite of a generic, flabby fruit bomb in the same price range; this is a good thing!
September 6, 2008 - Have had several of these bottles, but always popped 'n poured. Probably should try letting it breathe or decanting. Dry, minimal fruit, nice longish finish. For $8, it's certainly worth it!
August 21, 2008 - Leathery, a bit out of balance with too much acid.
March 17, 2008 - Good acidity, dark fruit, earthy.
March 4, 2008 - Lots of acidity, maybe too much, dark fruit.
