August 23, 2023 - Barely classifies as a rose, although it’s very enjoyable cooled. There’s a discernible barnyard character on the nose, which blows off with air, then a nice rich strawberry flavor, with secondary spice flavors like Chinese 5-spice. Balanced tannins and acidity, and an interesting, long-ish finish. Great wine, and an interesting one. Should cellar well for several years.

May 15, 2022 - Rich, delicious, round strawberry fruit, excellent structure, ample finish, drinks more like a Pinot Noir than a Rose, very good wine but lacks the acid that the best Roses (i.e Tempier) have

April 26, 2022 - Decanted 30 minutes before service. In the glass, pale amber-tinted pink at the rim, shading gracefully to clear deep ruby at the core. On the nose, cranberry, strawberry, and citrus fruit. On the palate, strawberries, grapefruit, orange rind, and nutmeg, and fruit competing with astringency for your attention from the attack through the finish. As with the other vintages, a really interesting and enjoyable wine.

April 11, 2022 - Love it. Echoing earlier notes that this is more red-wine territory than rose… it’s a unique wine and I love the style. In this case, notes of watermelon, gingerbread and minerality. Best as it warms toward cellar temp (from fridge)

March 12, 2022 - 2019 Antica Terra Angelicall is like a light red more than a Rosé. As close to Volnay as you get with strawberries, red cherry, and spices. Can't wait to see what this is like in a few years.
