April 11, 2024 - Worked very well with aged cheeses. Cherry/berry notes, full bodied but not heavy.
November 17, 2023 - Balanced with aromas of raspberry and tobacco.
March 17, 2023 - cab-based blend… ripe and rich.
nice deep purplish ruby in the glass with good body. a lot of dark fruit on the nose (plums, blueberry, blackberry) with herbal (bay leaf) and spicy (pepper, tobacco) whiffs. the fruit is generous in the mouth in a fairly round feel with moderate tannins and light somewhat savoury acidity.
with time vanilla notes begin to appear both in the nose and the palate and carry on thru the finish. these notes give the fruit a sweet aspect that overpowers the complexity of the wine (and that was not much to my liking). a bit of heat from the 14.7% AbV.
84% CS/ 11% Merlot/ 2% Mourvedre/ 2% Petit Verdot/ 1% Syrah.
March 5, 2023 - This really good for the price. Pretty rich and dark fruit and well balanced. Would get again.
January 22, 2023 - A really good cab. Definitely drink with something full of flavor. Also, needs to open up. Had it about 2hrs after opening and it got better with every sip.
November 16, 2022 - Not necessarily exciting or special, but still a delicious wine. Very stereotypical new world Cab Sauv in an old world style

June 4, 2022 - Drank in a restaurant and recommended by the somelier, it didn't disappoint. A short time in the decanter and 10 minutes in the glass brought this alive. Although predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, the small amount of Merlot seemed to balance it out. It just kept getting better and better throughout the meal. An excellent find and great value for money.
May 31, 2022 - Great wine to pair with food. Acidity is vibrantly plentiful. I would buy it again
