November 6, 2023 - This took every bit of 7 hours to even start opening. First night, still biund up but herbaceous, some ripe blueberry. Second night it really shined. Much more fruit forward, currant and black plum coming through and still herby.

October 7, 2023 - No notes taken. From double magnum. So much bacon fat, dark fruit, earthy notes, with herbs in the background. Superb nose. On the palate less exciting but still great, fine red and blue fruit, herbs, earthy notes. This Alion did shine bright.
