  February 10, 2024 - What a value at this price. Peppery out of the gate. 2 hr decant and really well done.

  May 1, 2023 - 90 minute decant. Nose of oak, black cherry, and some blackberry fruit. Plush palate of black cherry, red licorice, red peppercorn, blackberry, and fennel followed by a firm line of dried Italian herbs. Chunky tannins on the finish with plum that fades quickly into stones and polished French oak.

  March 12, 2023 - Nose is dusty old wine cellar.
  First sip, fruit is shrouded by burnt oak and stout tannin that almost ruins it.
  Fades quickly leaving a warm trail and a hint of sour milk.
  Second sip, still brisk, fresh leather boot, tree sap.

  August 27, 2022 - The Franc really came through and stole the show! Pleasant notes of violets, sage, thyme, salted caramel, toasted plums, blackberries, and mint. Silky smooth palate, superbly balanced, soft tannins on a long finish.

  C - outstanding (B L I C); can drink now, but has potential for ageing
