    January 15, 2021 - Cavallotto Barolo Bricco Boschis 2016
Such an interesting and amazing wine! Far too young but I think it has a fabulous future. On the nose, it opened up with some rose petals, red fruit and menthol. Over time with exposure to air, the nose became rather sweet, a sweet nose with herb candy, sweet candy, some funky animal notes, sweet fruits, licorice, hints of wild flowers, cherry, menthol, mint, sweet herbs, barnyard and wild herbs, sweet barnyard, expressive nose.
On the palate, impressively full of sweet and very juicy red fruits, sweet licorice, herb candy, very juicy, with a backbone of sweet fruit, dried fruit, herbs, clove, anise, menthol, some grippy tannins, mint. Great depth of flavour, great mid palate, very juicy and lush indeed, elegant. Lush red fruits and cherries with hints of licorice and herb candy; this has a very delightful sweetness indeed. 96/100

January 9, 2021 - Farge: Nokså mørk til å være nebbiolo
Duft : Tørr kjeller, noe lakris og fiol
Smak: Heftige tanniner, men med rund kant. Lyserøde frukter og litt floralt preg.

    Dag 2
    Duft: Hint av florale toner
Smak: Fortsatt kraftige tanniner. Noe stubbe og mørkere frukter.

Later til å ha stort potensiale. Drikkevinduet virker riktig. Kjøp mer.

January 2, 2021 - Tok-ung! Tungan fastnar i gommen. Fantastisk utvecklingspotential. Öppnas tidigast om 3år.

December 30, 2020 - It simply needs some time, 2-3 years at least. I love a good Barola, just hate the wait - lol.

December 22, 2020 - Very good. Aerated to decanter for 2 hours, served non-blind. Extremely elegant, highly floral and wonderfully structured. This was mostly linear - no surprise given its youth - on the med+ bodied palate, but the purity of the red fruits remained vivid, intense, and I was quite happy just to sniff it all night. A small glass on day 2 was more expressive; the structure was even more obvious. This will live for decades. HOLD. highly recommended
