November 20, 2023 - This is this kind of wine when you say: it's good wine. Not too much to complain about, not too much to be excited about, no nice or bad surprise, no disappointments, no enchantment. Just very solid, highly drinkable wine for everyone. Nice mix of aromas of red cherry and vanilla. Also plum and spice.
Taste is definitely on the sweet side of dry wines. Black cherry, plum, but great acidity and grippy tannins make this wine balanced and fresh. Pretty long finish with black pepper, black fruits and ripe tannins.
It was like those Australian high quality sweet bombs.
    😱😀

I wish all wines for 18€ were so good, especially from France!

January 5, 2023 - Fantastic example of a Gigondas: strong, fruit-forward, a little peppery. This one added more smoothness than many (decanting 2 hrs helped). Had it for new year's eve meal with italian sausage...pairing made in heaven. If you like bold California cabs and want to venture into like-minded Cotes du Rhone (Grenache+Syrah+Mourvedre grapes) try a Gigondas!

July 10, 2022 - Nice Rhone wine. Does not deserve the rating. But quite nice..

May 11, 2022 - Purple in color and opaque in the glass. Aromas of blackberries, plum, garrigue, roasted meat, and violets on the nose; tastes of blackberry, black cherry, and white pepper on the palate; medium(+) body, medium(+) acidity, medium(+) tannins; medium finish.

October 24, 2021 - Clear medium red. Great nose, berry fruit, thyme, bacon and cherry. Dry earthy cherry and berry flavours and a beautiful dry medium weight finish.
