  September 29, 2021 - Pleasant nose of herbs, oak and raisins. Much sweeter and more alcoholic heat than a typical Port tawny and wish there were some tannins to add structure to the finish. Drinks more like a cordial. Not my thing, but okay.

  September 4, 2021 - Deep dark brown center, red/brown rim with signs of age.
  Raisins (very PX), rancio, a little spent match, sweet.
  Smooth and rounded, macerated raisins, caramel, some drying acidity, fantastic finish.
  Surprisingly good aged tawny port, bottled in 2006 according to the lot number, never meant to go this long I suspect but has aged well. Now drinks as a mix of tawny and Madeira (Bual), with good acidity on the finish.

  September 9, 2018 - Reddish brick in color, this fortified wine showed raisin, graphite, baker's chocolate and fig on the nose. The mouth feel brought semi-sweet tastes of molasses, caramel and nuts. The finish was somewhat hot and harsh, clearly showing the 18% abv..
  
  Purchased for $15US/750ML, this is a decent entry level tawny offered at an excellent qpr that lacks the complexity and finesse of older aged tawny like the 10 and 20 year versions.
