January 18, 2020 - Definitely needed some air but nice after an hour or two. A little hot/alcohol on the nose, with a palate dominated by chocolate and coffee with red/blue fruit in the background and some bite on the finish. Fairly viscous with noticeable legs lingering in the glass. None of the sediment I would have expected, at least in the first half of the bottle. Curious to see if it softens on night 2.

March 27, 2015 - This is past its prime, but still enjoyable. Taking on some port-like taste, just enough freshness remains. Drink up.

September 4, 2012 - Decanted for about two hours. A bit closed at first. Opened up around hr 4, smell and taste choc, oak, cherry. Great mouth feel with med finish. This was a great wine, big fan of Sojourn.

April 1, 2012 - Very reticient at first, with a tight nose and a closed mouthfeel, but it really changed its persona after about two hours. And for those true Bradley believers - yes, the blueberries did come out to dance as well! Once it opened up it made me think of a rich mountain cab, with wonderful tannins and a rich velvety mouthfeel and very nicely balanced acids. The nose, when it did open, reminded me of grape bubblicious gum, with that sweet sugary and tangy grape taste. Fortunately the taste in the mouth was a combination of chocolate expresso, blueberry pie a la mode and red raspberry reduction, with a minty finish on the backend. A nice long finish indeed and a promise of a wine with many years ahead - I would still love to try this one out in another 10 years and see how it's faring.

June 7, 2011 - Reminds me of the Audelssa that got me into wine. Same fruit, and vintage...duh! Classic Erich Bradley nose...sweet cherry, nutmeg, chocolate, oak on nose. Bradley is all about texture and this fits his m.o. Total consistent palate with lush, velvet mouthfeel. Finish is long.
