March 1, 2022 - QPR. Still a bit bitter but with air a very decent CDR.
January 25, 2022 - I'm struck every time we have this by what a remarkably good value it is. The night before we had a bottle that costs 2.5x this that wasn't as good.
September 29, 2021 - Nothing flashy but solid weeknight wine that's better than some at 2x the price.
May 17, 2021 - Easy to think eh, so so. Then you remember it only cost $12.
December 22, 2020 - My usual goto rhone is the Guigal but this one at a large $1 more, I think I will be ordering more of this.
November 14, 2020 - Great value at $13. Good example of a CDR with cherry et al. Not a long finish but very pleasant. Will buy more
October 30, 2020 - Blackberry, leather, graphite, cherry. Moderate heat, medium tannins. Good value at $13. Not my favorite CDR, but clearly well made.
September 5, 2020 - Dusty nose with some herbal notes. Palate opens with strong current and fig notes. Blackberry and burnt tobacco. Supple tannins. Moderate finish. A great bargain.
August 24, 2020 - V.g. CDR with QPR
June 25, 2020 - 4/5 simply delicious, strongest buy more,
Expect to age well.
