April 7, 2020 - Average wine, at best. While it clearly is a product of Marlborough, this is the most basic example of a 2018 Marlborough SB that I have drunk thus far. Slightly insipid, and lacking in the steely character and pin point definition of the best examples (or even less-expensive, but well-made examples) of this varietal from this region and vintage. It had ripeness, and has some of the characteristics that one associates with Marlborough, but it simply does not deliver a convincing palate profile.
