September 24, 2020 - Light+ bodied, glou glou styling. Riesling's white flowers, petrol, and a little citrus rind shine through brett, funk, and fair structure from brief skin contact. Touch of heat in the finish for the first hour or so. Reductive winemaking in play, and it's really pleasant if let you it "air out". Not for someone set on having a traditional Riesling, or any white for that matter.
Edit - day 2, had re-corked bottle and left on counter. Funk has significantly subsided and now cinnamon, white flowers, orange rind, cloves, white stone fruit are more present. Ultimately fell apart maybe 3 hours after uncorking, but great until then.1 person found this helpful Comment
