November 10, 2021 - Tasted this blind with Xavier94 and others: concur with his descriptors but this was the vintage I got the licorice finish from. A beautiful wine today! 94+

November 9, 2021 - Grand Cru showing with such beautiful resolution to the flavors at this point. I love the vital energy amongst delicate yet lively aromas of sous bois, tea spice, leather, hickory smoke and floral remnants that have a unique impact on the nose along. This is so good you could actually just spend time on the nose not even have to taste it to enjoy it! Pliant, with umami richness on the mid palate and incredibly weightless. Rocking right now!

October 13, 2017 - Jasper Volnay. Slight cork taint which is shame. Youthful palate with coffee notes, but noticeable decline in glass. Would be drinking these.

May 18, 2010 - D'Angerville Clos des Ducs - vertical 1978 - 2005 (Institute of Directors, London): Browning, assertive polishy nose, deep and rich on the palate. Yes, syrupy, but very nice
