Community Tasting Notes 1

June 10, 2010 - Pale pink edge and strong ruby red center with high clarity. Nose of subtle cherry, sage, tobacco, and not opening much over three hours. Brisk acidity and still assertive tannins feature more prominently that vaguely cherry cola flavor. Very short, clipped finish, but fit well with homemade pepperoni pizza and antipasti. Not bad for 21 year old bottle of youngish vine cabernet from a vintage of moderate achievement. Bottle #2 of two.
