  January 24, 2022 - Wow! What a stellar QPR (esp. at <$US15). Gave this about a half-hour to breathe. Good clear bright red in the glass; a dash of white pepper, and strawberry with some ripe red raspberry as well, but none of the smokey brambles one often finds in mainland Grenache. Good three nights running in the dead of a cold winter, but this would be appropriate in any season. The wine is light-bodied, wonderful with food, incredibly easy to drink, and I wish I had more than one bottle left.

  January 2, 2021 - Initially on opening this was a bit rough, but 30 minutes in the decanter saw it smooth out a bit. Then there is dark red fruit and vegetation on the nose. The palate has red fruit, fresh medium+ acidity, but somehow feels a bit thin. The finish does have an intriguing note of white pepper as another reviewer noted.
  
  Overall it's an OK wine if you like fresh acidic reds, but somehow lacks for some weight on the palate. Perhaps a little pricey for what it is at ~US$16.

  September 19, 2020 - First bottle of cannonau. Got at sale price so good value. Fruit forward and light wine. Great nose but body and finish not as exciting

  September 18, 2020 - Good enough but kind of flat, a bit too ripe with some scorched earth and rubber. Not bad, but not at all interesting and in some ways off-putting.
