March 17, 2021 - Dark fruit, chocolate, and flowers on the nose. Bright cherries, dusty plums, and licorice candy on the palate. The finish has notes of citrus, seltzer, earth, chalk, and berries.

December 21, 2020 - 90m air. Medium purple color. Notes of plum, blackberry, cinnamon, cured meat, forest floor and fresh sage. Medium-bodied, supple and lush on the palate, with velvety tannins. Red and black fruit, slightly tart, with notes of sage and cinnamon on the palate.

Still on the hunt for good Malbec from 2018, but unfortunately this isn't what I'm looking for.

September 14, 2020 - I have to admit I like this. Not as fruit forward or extracted as I was expecting. Maybe I have an old world bias but this felt fresh, vibrant and quite balanced. The tannin is ripe but there is that hint of dust that tingles the palate reminding you, you're not drinking fruit punch. The finish could be a little longer but I really enjoyed this wine. I think it would go great with hard cheeses, charcuterie and beef tenderloin and maybe lamb chops. I also think it could age for five years but given how tasty it already is, I would consume on the short term.
