February 22, 2020 - Dark ruby color. Little of interest on the nose at first, later evolved into anise, plum, and white pepper. Jammy flavors, quite a bit of oak, tannins still evident, and not a whole lot else. At the end of the day, another fighting varietal, nothing memorable.
