December 3, 2023 - Drinking well now. Not in the top rank of Pouilly Fuisse but fruit and acidity balanced - a little short.

October 15, 2021 - Lemon verbena and lemongrass on the nose and palate, only slight butter with influence of white oak. Lighter bodied. Nice balance of fruit, acidity, butter and light oak. Not overly crisp. Not overly oaky or buttery. Not great, but not bad especially at $20 price point.

June 22, 2021 - Medium- intense nose of lemon oil, corn kernels, cedar. Some green notes on the palate like lemongrass.

Light body, medium alcohol, medium acidity. The wine’s body seems out of balance from the other elements, leading to a thin finish. This is another pouilly-fuisse that tastes more like a new world Chardonnay. There are better chards to be had for the same price.

Update: I had this with koji marinated cod confit in butter&olive oil and the wine’s buttery, oak spice paired well with the dish. I’m upgrading my rating to neutral, but this wine needs to be paired with a rich, buttery dish.

April 12, 2021 - enjoyed it. Agree about the oak but worked for me

August 13, 2020 - Some may like this style, but for me, it's a wood monster. Perhaps time will allow the oak to integrate, but at this point in time, it's too much for me. Good fruit here, but why hide it behind oak staves. Hot finish.
